Abstract

In an interview with PURCHASING Magazine, Mozelle Thompson, a member of the FTC since 1977, discussed antitrust and other aspects of emerging B2B markets, including the role of purchasing, company information practices, disputes arising from electronic trade and issues surrounding the next generation Internet. Thompson says that the same antitrust and consumer protection laws that apply to bricks and mortar companies will apply to B2B Net markets.
