* I'M ON THE RECORD as being unenthusiastic about convertible tablet PCs in general. Why not just use a slate and a wireless keyboard. Still, I've been impressed in the past by Fujitsu's LifeBook series, so I had to wonder if the T4410 Tablet PC could change my mind. In the thin-and-light world of netbooks and ultra- thin laptops, convertibles have a disadvantage: a sturdy hinge requires a bulkier footprint. The T4410 weighs in at about four pounds, which is not unreasonable for a 12.1-inch notebook, but it's certainly no MacBook Air....
