ALAMEDA, CALIF.--Despite the cancellation of its developers' conference last week, Geoworks continued support for its Geos handheld operating system, unveiling a new version, tools and licensing agreements at the American Electronics Association meeting in Monterey, Calif.
The company announced a strategic licensing agreement with Toshiba Corp., Japan.
"Unlike most of our OEM relationships, which are single-product-based, this relationship with Toshiba is for a range of products," said Gordon Mayer, Geoworks president and chief executive.
