Abstract

Commercial printing executives now have another channel for making money. The alternative to the traditional print medium in this case is the Internet with a blending of long-established auctioneering procedures for selling and buying products or trinkets. An article in the June 1 edition of The New York Times reports that businesses are exploring cyberauctions. This means that old hardware and software should not be thrown away. Instead, the items can be put up for sale via cyberauctions. Software detailing the techniques of auctioneering on the Internet is available from OpenSite Technologies.
