LAKE SUCCESS-In a shift between two of Long Island's fastestgrowing accounting firms, Manhattan-based Tabb, Conigliaro and McGann is leaving Grassi & Co. after 20 months to join Woodburybased Marcum & Kliegman.
The firms declined to discuss reasons for the move and said details of the "de-merger" have yet to be finalized.
But Tabb Conigliaro's partners and most of their staff-a total of about 20 employees-made the move to M&K's Manhattan offices several weeks ago.
Marcum & Kliegman now has a staff of about 100 in Manhattan and 130 in Woodbury.
Ronnie Conigliaro, who at one point had been the managing partner at Grassi & Co.'s Manhattan office and had led its Securities and Exchange Commission practice group, joined M&K as a partner. Kevin McGann and Vince Palucci also became partners at M&K.
