Gray Television Inc. is buying three TV stations and divesting other stations, including one via a swap deal with Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc., related to its pending acquisition of TV and radio stations owned by Schurz Communications Inc., Gray said Oct. 1.
The latest deals are intended to facilitate regulatory approvals for Gray's acquisition of radio and TV stations owned by Schurz. Upon closing of all of the announced transactions, Gray will own or operate network-affiliated TV stations in 50 markets nationwide.
