LOS ANGELES - Hair removal technology is improving as manufacturers aim to lure women from expensive salons to the P&BC aisle in drug stores. Marzena BodyCare Products Inc., is one such company. Several of its hair removal products now contain a formula that decreases hair regrowth, so the tedious process, after the formula takes effect, can be done less frequently. A new product, called Marzena Body Hair Inhibitor, aims to specifically cut hair regrowth after using depilatories. The company hopes the technology puts Marzena ahead of competitors, such as the Sally Hansen, Neet and Nair brands.
