Original movies, record national ratings
The power of the Hallmark brand and high-quality original movies continue to fuel Hallmark Channel's unparalleled success. A dozen telecasts in fourth quarter 2004 garnered a 1.0 national household rating or better.1 Hallmark Channel's original movies set records, with the network's new trio of Mystery Movies achieving a national rating of 2.0 or higher.2 Highly rated acquisitions, including "Judging Amy," "JAG" and "Walker, Texas Ranger" also continue to attract a loyal adult audience.
More originals and miniseries in '05-'06
Hallmark Channel continues the momentum for the 2005-2006 season with 25 original movies announced to date. The fourth quarter alone brings six original movie premieres, including "Reading Room," starring James Earl Jones.
New movies premiere all year long
The second and third quarter of 2005 are packed with exciting originals. The highly rated Mystery Movies are back for a second season-nine new movies beginning in June. Three popular franchises are "McBride," starring John Larroquette; "Jane Doe," starring Lea Thompson; and "Mystery Woman," starring Kellie Martin.
