FOCUSING: Manual. LENSES: Hasselblad-branded 45mm f/4 and 90mm f/4 with a proprietary bayonet-style lensmount; lenses include bayoneting hoods plus barrel threading for 49mm accessory filters.
EXPOSURE SYSTEM: Aperture priority or manual exposure, with over/underexposure scale in viewfinder, and shutter speed displayed on camera-back LCD. Metering is TTL centerweighted average, taken at film plane. Exposure compensation to 2 stops in 'S-step intervals. Autobracketing to+1or stops. VIEWFINDER: Split-image rangefinder for focusing with automatic parallax-compensating bright frame that's coupled to lens-focusing mechanism. Automatically crops finder image for the focal length of the mounted lens. Over/correct/under meter readings.
FLASH: Single-pin hot shoe accepts nondedicated units with flash coverage for the field of a 25mm lens (for 45mm Hasselblad lens) or 50mm lens (for 90mm Hasselblad lens). Syncs to 1/125 sec. PC terminal.
OTHER FEATURES: Lenscap-on alert; prewind film advance; total shot count (useful for maintenance); cable release socket; two back-lit LCD panels. Shutter speeds 8-1/1000 sec, plus Bulb. The XPan puts 21, 13, or 6 panoramic images on a 36-, 24-, or 12-exposure roll of 35mm film, respectively.
