BROOKLYN, N.Y. - A group of health club partners and a veteran cook for some popular Manhattan eating spots have teamed up to open a restaurant for the serious healthand-fitness enthusiast.
Boasting a menu with nothing fried, a scant amount of white starches and many low-fat ingredients, the new Fins Cafe is, appropriately enough, located inside of a health center, the Dolphin Fitness Club, one of a 10-unit chain of private exercise facilities in New York City's five boroughs.
The unit to debut the first Fins Cafe is in Brooklyn's Bensonhurst neighborhood.
