In response to the House of Lords' request for better collaboration on complementary health training, Cornwall College, in partnership with the University of Plymouth, has developed a new Foundation Degree in Complementary Health Therapies.
The course, which has been developed with employers, integrates academic work with strong work experience. The International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) has recognised the potential of the course for strengthening the position of complementary therapies in the future, and as a vehicle for current practitioners' own continuing professional development within Cornwall.
