ALLIANCE - Ross Perot Jr.'s Hillwood company expects to break ground in about 60 days on two new speculative industrial buildings here totaling 650,000 square feet.
The buildings are part of Hillwood's ambitious plan to continue growing the booming industrial development that surrounds Fort Worth Alliance Airport.
"On a speculative basis, we'd like to add 1.2 to 1.5 million square feet this year," said Bill Burton, a senior vice president at Hillwood, which oversees the 9,600-acre Alliance development straddling the Tarrant/Denton County line.
Burton said Hillwood wants to have ample inventory to attract new companies to Alliance.
