HITACHI WAS ONE OF THREE vendors that did not offer complete DVD upgrade kits. Instead, Hitachi simply supplies the GD-2000 to its OEM customers. This drive is the same as the ones in the up grade kits from Pacific Digital, Smart Storage Solutions and Utobia.
