HK Systems, Inc., has continued its aggressive growth strategy with its acquisition of the material handling systems division and VantageWare Software subsidiary of Western Atlas Inc. Western Atlas Material Handling Systems, with facilities in Hebron, as well as Montgomery, Ala., and Salisbury, N.C., is a leading integrator, manufacturer and distributor of conveyors, vonGal palletizers, sortation equipment, and automated storage and retrieval systems.
