Dan Holland says he liked the idea behind the Hoops Bar & Grill so much, he bought the concept.
In fact, he also bought the 1-year-old Jeffersontown Hoops location, on Ruckriegel Parkway, from Hoops founder Roger Self for about $900,000 in a deal that closed June 28.
That location has been closed for about a month as Holland has remodeled the interior, replacing a concrete floor with hardwood, replacing beer signs with sports memorabilia and tweaking the menu. An arcade area has been added, along with a number of new television screens.
