HR Practices Are Leading Indicators of Financial Success
Results of a recent study by Watson Wyatt prove for the first time that there is a cause and effect relationship between human capital management and financial performance. Watson Wyatt's 2001 "Human Capital Index (HCI)" study shows that superior human resources practices are not only correlated with improved financial returns, they are, in fact, a leading indicator of increased shareholder value.
