HS2 names winners of [pounds]49m high speed rail design contracts

Mott Macdonald, Arup, Atkins and Capita Symonds Ineco JV named for lot 1, but WSP, AECOM-Hyder and Jacobs miss out.

HS2 has awarded four design contracts worth £49 million covering civil and structural design services for the £32.7 billion high speed rail link.

Mott Macdonald, Atkins, Arup and Capita Symonds Ineco JV have all been successful. Other firms in lot 1 included WSP, AECOM-Hyder and Jacobs.
