IBM has announced that it has helped Amrit Feeds Ltd., one of India's leading poultry, animal feed and dairy product company's, remodel its sales order, forecasting, costing and manufacturing processes through implementation of an integrated SAP solution. Working with IBM, the company has eliminated separate, manual processes across locations and introduced organization wide visibility of the entire supply chain process from poultry and dairy farms to individual institutional customers.
IBM's solution, which included implementation of group-wide sales order forecasting, has helped Amrit Feeds cut product stock-out rates by 16 percent, improved capacity utilization by 10 percent,...
