Continuing its efforts to refresh products every six months, IBM PC Co. is expected to release two additions to its ThinkPad notebook line early next month, according to internal documents obtained by Computerworld.
The new ThinkPad 720 and 720C are redesigned versions of the existing Models 700 and 700C that feature a faster processor, better battery life and Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) support. A sub. notebook is expected to follow in the summer, other sources said.
IBM declined to discuss the releases.
