In an environment where former employers are hesitant to provide references regarding employee performance, employee testing offers managers and supervisors an opportunity to gather key information. This information can tell a manager whether an individual has the potential to succeed in the job. Testing can measure existing skill levels, knowledge, and abilities against current or projected job requirements.
