CHINA AND India will unleash an explosion of demand for petrochemicals over the coming decades, helping shift the supply/demand balance in the sector, Reliance Industries chief executive, Mukesh Ambani, said last week.
"Asia is truly the future of the global petrochemical industry," Ambani said in his keynote address to the 31st NPRA International Petrochemical Conference (IPC). He forecasted that India's market for petrochemicals, for example, would quadruple over the next 10 years.
