Industrial Container to build new 223,000 sq. ft. building

Industrial Container & Supply Co., Salt Lake City, has begun moving earth at approximately 1800 South and 5200 West, West Valley City, for a new 223,000 square foot facility on 10 acres.

"Basically, we want our own building,'' said Julie Dixon, IT purchasing

agent for the 42-year-old company, now operating from approximately 143,000 square foot leased facilities at 1865 S. 4490 W., Salt Lake City.

Furst Construction will build the company's new headquarters, designed by John Wilhite. Completion is slated for January 2006.
