CANASTOTA--Canastota-based Owl Wire and Cable has been acquired by Chicago-based Marmon Group.
The acquisition will not eliminate any jobs at Owl. Owl Wire and Cable fabricates uninsulated copper wire for use in the automotive, telecommunication, appliance, and building industries.
Marmon, an international association of autonomous manufacturing and service companies, also acquired two other companies in the deal, the terms of which were not made public.
