VoiXX (Voice for Microsoft Exchange) from Intersis Technologies (Atlanta, GA - 770-980-6615) can do unified messaging on a small scale (five users for $550) or on an immense scale (nearly 20,000 seats for an installation in Italy and an estimated 1.5 million seats for an upcoming project in Portugal).
Their NT Workstation, or Server, based Voice Integration Technology provides oodles of features for legacy PBXs (VoiXX has been tested on over 100 brands, and Lucent's AccuCall wizard is included in the package so those with little knowledge of analog switch integration can now interface with various PBX and CO lines), auto-attendants and Microsoft Exchange databases via traditional PSTN, SMTP and POP3 points of access.
VoiXX itself is simply pure software, based on three native NT services that work with Lucent / Rhetorex cards, specifically the RDSP/400 series (the RDSP/432...
