SAN FRANCISCO Intersolv Inc. has said it is now shipping an upgrade to the version-control component of its PVCS Software Configuration Management suite.

PVCS Version Manager 5.2, which the company announced at the Software Development conference here earlier this month, has been given an expanded graphical user interface, event triggers, enhanced security and on-line wizards that walk users through project setup, merging and other tasks, said Tobi Moriarty, director of product management at Intersolv, Rockville, Md.
