INTERSOLV INC. is at work on major enhancements to its PVCS configuration management tool that promises to help developers integrate object-oriented and Internet technologies into their code management processes, said sources dose to the company.
The company is working on a series of both upgrades and new higher end versions of its PVCS flagship to ship during the next 18 months as part of an umbrella project dubbed Proteus, the sources said.
