While British Columbia's unique architectural style has drawn international acclaim for its leading edge designs, Intertech Construction Group President Peter Rezansoff says the international community of developers and construction companies are now realizing that B.C. construction techniques are also leading the world.

"In the West Coast and Canada our community of architects, consultants and builders has developed an expertise in areas such as highrise residential construction. That is not to say they do not build highrise residential elsewhere. However, the type of structure we build and the methods that we employ are looked at by the construction industry from other parts of the world," says Rezansoff.
Rezansoff says companies like Intertech, with its long history of building concrete structures and highrises, has participated in development of new systems for delivering those visionary highrise residential buildings. "We really specialize in exposed concrete architectural buildings," says Rezansoff, of a company that started when he and partner Tony McGill, construction supervisors, mortgaged their homes 19 years ago. The recognition that Intertech has gained has drawn international developers and builders to its doorstep wanting to see not only what Intertech has built but also the systems behind its legacy of 60 highrises. Not one has been over budget and Intertech takes pride in delivering buildings ahead of deadline.
