Iowa regulators have cleared Clipper Windpower Inc.'s request to build a 50-MW wind farm in Carroll County, Iowa. Corn Belt Power Cooperative will buy the output under a 25-year power purchase agreement.
In an Aug. 7 order, the Iowa Utilities Board waived the state's generating certificate requirements for the 20-turbine Enterprise Wind Energy Project.
