Abstract

AT&T, Sprint, MCI, and Schneider Communications recently alleged that Ameritech is dragging its heels in making 1+ dialing available to customers who want to use an alternative carrier for their intraLATA toll calls. The 4 interexchange carriers (IXC) filed a complaint with the Wisconsin Public Service Commission (PSC) charging that Ameritech disregarded an order the PSC issued July 7, 1994, that opened the state's intraLATA toll calling market to competition.
