Abstract

The CI and HUMINT working group was stood up as part of last year's Empire Challenge, which is the command's premiere intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance exercise, according to Air Force Col. George "Skip" Krakie, chief of the command's ISR Integration Division. Since the creation of the JFCOM working group, addressing combatant command's concerns over current CI and HUMINT capabilities in the field has become a key objective in this year's iteration of Empire Challenge, Krakie told reporters during an Aug. 9 teleconference.
