Oakland-based Kaiser Permanente is expanding its presence in the South San Francisco area by opening a 120,000-square-foot medical building in Daly City.
When the building opens in November, it will be Kaiser's fourth medical office building serving that area.
The building is needed because of a space crunch at Kaiser's main campus on El Camino Real in South San Francisco, said Tamara Trefz, medical group administrator. Providers - including 55 physicians, nine nurse practitioners and eight optometrists - will move from there to the new building.
