Kindel cost Office Depot $36 million

Office Depot Inc. has finally revealed how much it paid for Cincinnati-based office supply business J.A. Kindel Co.: roughly $36 million.

The nation's largest office products superstore chain announced its acquisition of Kindel, the largest privately held office supply house in the nation, in late August. But it wasn't until Office Depot filed a regular quarterly earnings statement earlier this month that the Delray Beach, Fla.-based company revealed terms of the deal.
