Kuwait's oil production facilities continue to be afflicted by crises, after a fire -- the latest in a series over the last three years -- broke out Sunday at the Burgan oil field, the country's largest.
Repairs to a massive, earlier explosion at the northern Raudhatain field are advancing with the restart this month of a production facility, but will take years to finish completely.
The latest incident cut production at the giant 1.25 million barrel-per-day field. Kuwaiti sources said exports would not be affected, and declined to comment on the extent to which output was...
