She made her first impact on the D.C. area as producer of Petey Greene's Washington. Her creative imagination helped make that show one of the most popular in the area. More recently, she has been charming the socks off of listeners of WUST radio.
Each morning from 7:30 to 8:00 Lavern Jackson hosts and produces "All About Children." a youth-oriented show geared to capturing the reactions and feelings of the area's youth. From 11:00 to 11:15 a.m., she hosts and produces "Joy in the Morning," a mid-day talk show.
