f you're a procrastinator and you want to feel good about it, read this book. Carey's mission appears to be removing everyone's nose from the grindstone. In How We Learn, Carey, a popular science reporter for the Neto York Times, presents several findings that challenge the conviction that knowledge is won by hard work.
Some of his conclusions we've all heard before-like how taking naps and study breaks can improve learning. (There's a reason the phrase "sleep on it" is so common.) But there are some surprises.
