More than 40 delegates attended "E-commerce, the myths and the realities ; another highly successful seminar for South Wales branch last month. Ralph Barker, lecturer at the University of Glamorgan, and Phil Holmes, procurement manager of Coleg Gwent, presented the results of their organisations' research into this key area.
Barker explained the wide-ranging research project in 2001 into the take-up by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Wales of e-commerce in order to provide an initial benchmark upon which a range of other programmes could be developed.
