Something has to be done about supervision - it is outdated. Regardless of whether it is good or bad, we should be discussing not only how to supervise, but what to supervise.
How: The law says that non-GSL medicines may only be supplied by a pharmacist or under a pharmacist's supervision. In 1951, self-service in shops was a new concept. It had been usual for goods in all shops to be kept behind the counter.
