To a newcomer to the field, this concise volume is a good introduction to the physical concepts, phenomena, and basic mathematical relationships involved in adsorption processes. To the experienced engineer, it is a good review of methods for solving a wide range of adsorption problems.
Most of the chapters are devoted to equilibrium aspects of adsorption, a proper choice, although transport resistance is also discussed, providing a comprehensive view of this technology. The material is logically organized and the author has a refreshing writing style.
