LTV Corp. said Wednesday, Oct. 16, it has decided to reorganize its LTV Copperweld unit, the largest maker of steel pipes and tubes in North America and the world's largest supplier of copper wire.
The move ends a three-month attempt to sell the division, which is the only LTV business to remain profitable after the parent's 19 months in bankruptcy.
