ACI Capital
Former Citigroup Investments veteran Hunter Reisner joined the firm as a managing director. Previously, he headed up private equity investments at Citigroup.
Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld
Lisa Peterson joined the firm as a partner in the investment funds and private equity practice. She spends time in both Dallas and Fort Worth. Peterson joined from Kelly, Hart & Hallman in Fort Worth.
ARC Investment Partners
Newly formed ARC is a Beverly Hills, Calif.-based investor in and executor of reverse mergers. Adam Roseman, who founded the firm as serves as CEO, formerly had been a partner at Tompkins Capital Group.
Other staff include: Scott Jenkins, who heads ARC's aftermarket support, had been a senior member of the institutional sales team at Roth Capital Partners in Newport Beach, Calif.
Michael Kurdziel, former director of corporate development at Activision, is a managing director who heads ARC's portfolio company operations and business development. John Gray, a former Lehman Brothers VP and senior technology analyst, serves as a managing director and ARC's COO.
Jason Farber, VP of transaction execution at the firm, previously had served as director of M&A at Platinum Equity.
Bank of America securities
Suhail Shaikh joined the firm's financial sponsors corporate and investment banking group in New York as a managing director. Shaikh formerly worked at CIBC World Markets as an executive director in the leveraged finance/financial sponsors group.
Bear, Stearns
Media and telecom pro David Braunschvig joined the firm as a senior managing director in its technology, media, and telecommunications investment banking group. Braunschvig joined from Lazard, where he was a senior adviser and managing director, advising companies in the technology, media, and telecom sector.
Brown Smith Wallace
This St. Louis-based CPA and business consulting firm brought in Rob Hill as a principal in its litigation and valuation services and M&A practices, in which capacity he's responsible for expanding the firm's business valuation practice and working on M&A assignments throughout the Midwest.
Hill's previous work experience includes serving as a VP at ICON Capital, corporate development manager at NBC Internet in San Francisco, and corporate finance analyst at Bear, Stearns.
