ACCORDING TO A NATIONAL REVERSE Mortgage Lenders Association survey, eight in 10 seniors said they would either definitely recommend or probably recommend the product to another family member or friend. Only 15% said they would probably not or definitely not recommend a reverse mortgage to someone else.
The NRMLA study is a compendium of three separate surveys conducted by Martilla Strategies: a survey of seniors with reverse mortgages who have held reverse mortgages for a minimum of two years; a survey of seniors without reverse mortgages who own their homes and whose mortgage loan balance is no more than 50% of their home equity; and a survey of adults, at least 45 years of age, with at least one surviving parent, where that parent or parents...
