GE Money, the consumer finance arm of General Electric, has announced that its joint venture in India with the country's largest bank, State Bank of India (SBI), has passed the 2 million card customer mark.
The company has put the success of the operation - called SBI Card - down to astute, experienced marketing, a broad range of products and a focus on loyalty programmes and other tried and tested initiatives.
