Abstract

Credit information provider Markit -- which launched a know-your-customer document exchange facility last year -- and counterparty data vendor Avox are assessing the opportunities for synchronizing their offerings for mutual clients, officials said. Penny Davenport, who heads Markit Document Exchange, says her facility needs clean client data to accurately reflect the entities on it. In May last year, Inside Reference Data reported that the user community had pointed out that the value of the Markit Document Exchange would increase if it was linked to Avox.
