Mark's Plumbing Parts (Fort Worth, TX), a national plumbing specialty parts and MRO supply distributor, held formal investiture ceremonies on Sept. 13 for the appointment of Frank J. O'Connell as president and CEO. He succeeds Michael D. Gasparini, who is retiring and had served in the role since 1995 after assuming the position from John W. Gasparini Sr., who started the company in 1981. O'Connell was formerly vice president of J.A. Sexauer U.S., Canada and Latin America. In attendance and speaking at the ceremony were Gil V. Silva, former president of the J.A. Sexauer companies, and Carmen Sbezzi, former vice president of sales at Sexauer. Both have accepted positions as advisors to Mark's board of directors. In other changes, Marvin L. Rubac, previously vice president of operations, was appointed executive vice president, and Kevin I. Richards, also formerly from Sexauer, was named marketing manager at Mark's. The company is a national distributor of more than 80,000 plumbing, electrical and MRO items serving plumbing contractors and the commercial and institutional market segments.
