Vineyard Wind LLC recently received approval from Massachusetts officials on its supplementary draft environmental report for its 800-MW Vineyard Offshore Wind Project despite state authorities finding the developer's initial paperwork "inadequate."
In an Oct. 12 notice, Massachusetts Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs Matthew Beaton issued a certificate to the Avangrid Renewables LLC and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners K/S joint venture's underground power line system for the offshore wind project, saying that the additional report "adequately and properly complies with [the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act] and its implementing regulations."
