Intuit has a new Master Builder Authorized Associate Program which helps accountants and business consultants better serve the specific needs of their construction-industry clients while offering them programs, services, and benefits to grow their own practices. As an authorized associate, accountants working with construction-industry clients have an opportunity to access indepth training, support, and sales resources necessary to confidently use and recommend Intuit Master Builder, as well as increase their network of professionals who serve the construction industry. The 1999 U.S. Census reports that there are more than 1.3 million construction businesses in the United States and Intuit research estimates that more than 317,000 accountants service the needs of construction clients. According to the company, many of these construction business owners have expressed several unique needs in running their business, including a streamlined process to accurately track job changes. Intuit says that its Master Builder program is a full integrated solution offering construction-specific specialized reporting to track projects, employee productivity, and other business elements, as well as a means to accurately record profits on each project.
