Max Factor has released Visual Magic, a makeup base gel, for limited-time sales. The lucent gel fills fine wrinkles and pores so they become smoother. The illuminating veil diffuses light so shadowy parts of the face receive more light and that makes fine wrinkles and pores less noticeable. The product is porous so it does not clog pores and it does not hold sebum but diffuses it between the skin and foundation so the foundation stays on better. It is hard to keep makeup intact in the summer because of heat and dry air- conditioned environments. Max Factor recommends using both Visual Mask (15g, 2800 yen) and Face Finity Foundation UV (powder foundation with eight colors, 3500 yen each, compact and buff sold separately, or liquid foundation with eight colors, 3500 yen each, buff included). Face Finity Foundation has an effect of controlling sebum and it does not soil clothes easily. With both products, the foundation stays well so the makeup finish stays even and beautiful. Two new colors that go well with Japanese women's skin have been added to Face Finity Foundation UV.
