OAK BROOK, ILL. - In an effort to recognize its most dedicated restaurant managers across the United States, McDonald's Corp. recently honored the first recipients of a prestigious new award named after the company's illustrious founder.
The Ray Kroc Award was presented to 125 honorees, a group representing the top 1 percent of McDonald's restaurant managers. The winners were nominated and selected based on three criteria: operational excellence, superior people skills and the ability to build the business.
"It is clear that our restaurant managers are the critical link in the process of satisfying our customers," said Alan Feldman, president of McDonald's USA. "They run terrific restaurants with motivated crew members, and we wanted to recognize them foi what they do."
