Patricia Ann McPhee believes that good things come in small packages.
Her company, Western Ventures Construction Inc., has the sales figures to prove it.
With just 11 employees, Western Ventures still manages to nab big contracts from even bigger competition.
McPhee is a general contractor for commercial and medical renovations, alterations, additions and upgrades. Most of the company's business centers around public works contracts with city, county and state agencies.
"I have never seen my business becoming a large contracting firm," McPhee said. "I am quite happy in maintaining a small successful business on a level that allows personal contact with clients and their consultants."
