As America Online (AOL) touts its continuing anti-spam campaign over junk email with such features as its new Mail Control^, other ISPs are quietly instituting their own anti-spam tactics which may not please many Internet users. Most ISP users may not even be aware that changes have been made to their detriment. Under AOL's anti-spam Mail Control(tm), its 10 million users are offered the option of receiving email from:
1. Other AOL members only;
2. Other AOL members and specific Internet addresses of family, friends, and colleagues only;
3. Other AOL members and specific other online services (or domains) like Prodigy and CompuServe(tm), among others;
4. All AOL members and Internet sources.
